See leadership behaviour
in motion.
Archia is a competitive business simulation where teams manage companies, make decisions under pressure, negotiate, face crises and turn business outcomes into leadership insight.
Participants do not answer theoretical questions. They manage a company, make trade-offs, defend priorities, negotiate with other teams, respond to uncertainty and reflect on the consequences of their choices.

Observed Behaviours
The Business Challenge
Leadership is easiest to describe, hardest to observe.
Organisations need leaders who can think strategically, make decisions under uncertainty, communicate clearly, manage conflict, protect trust and take accountability when results are not as expected.
Yet these behaviours are difficult to observe through traditional training, interviews or classroom-based exercises. People may know the right leadership concepts — but the real question is how they behave when priorities compete, information is incomplete, pressure rises and consequences become visible.
Knowing
Answering theoretical questions. Understanding leadership models. Scoring well on a 360 survey. Knowing the right frameworks.
Showing
Behaving under pressure. Making trade-offs with incomplete information. Adapting when results are unexpected. Taking accountability in real time.
“Archia creates a structured business environment where leadership behaviours become visible through action.”
What Is Archia?
A business simulation built around decisions, consequences and reflection.
Archia is a leadership and business decision-making simulation in which teams act as the management teams of competing companies in the same market.
Each company starts from equal conditions. As the simulation progresses, teams navigate a fast-growing but fragile business environment shaped by customer expectations, operational pressure, reputation risk, regulatory demands and human-capital challenges.
Definition
Archia is a simulation-based leadership experience designed to reveal how people decide, interact, adapt and take accountability in a dynamic business environment.
Competing Companies
Teams manage rival companies in the same market, starting from equal conditions.
Negotiation Windows
Strategic cooperation and competitive advantage through Swap and Pact mechanisms.
Crisis Events
Crises increase pressure and reveal additional behavioural data on adaptability.
Reflection Moments
Teams explain reasoning, interpret outcomes and adjust their next move.
Simulation Journey
From market pressure to leadership insight.
Each round introduces a new business context. Teams discuss priorities, select decision cards and choose between alternative actions. Their choices influence hidden company indicators and shape conditions in later rounds.

Game Mechanics
How the simulation works.
Six interlocking mechanics create a live business environment where every decision leaves a trace and every behaviour becomes evidence.
10-Round Business Journey
Teams move through sequential business periods, each with its own market pressure, decision context and strategic tension.
Decision Cards
Each team selects two decision cards per round and chooses between alternative actions that shape outcomes.
Hidden Company Metrics
Company health tracked across Financial Strength, Operational Health, Trust & Reputation, Human Capacity and Decision Discipline.
Negotiation Windows
Teams may enter structured negotiation through Swap and Pact mechanisms, creating ethical tensions and strategic opportunities.
Crisis Events
Sudden crises increase pressure, reveal additional behavioural data and test how teams respond to the unexpected.
Reflection Moments
Teams explain their reasoning, interpret outcomes and adjust their next move — creating rich observable behavioural data.

What Archia Reveals
Archia makes leadership behaviours observable.
Archia does not only look at which decision a team chooses. It looks at how the decision is discussed, justified, challenged, negotiated, owned and adapted after the outcome.

- Decision-Making Under Uncertainty
- Planning & Prioritisation
- Risk Management
- Ethical & Values-Based Leadership
- Effective Communication & Persuasion

From Gameplay to Behavioural Evidence
Every decision creates data. Every behaviour creates insight.
During the simulation, assessors focus on observable behaviours rather than general impressions. They capture how participants frame problems, name risks, manage trade-offs, influence others, handle disagreement, take ownership and learn from outcomes.
The assessor does not interrupt, coach or direct the participant. The aim is to preserve the natural flow of the simulation while collecting structured behavioural evidence.
Behavioural Evidence Board
Live CaptureCrisis Event — Round 6: Regulatory pressure spike. Team delayed decision 90s, named reputational risk, proposed mitigation. Ownership language confirmed post-outcome.
What Makes Archia Different
More than a game. More than a case study.
Seven features combine to create a leadership observation environment that no traditional training, simulation or case study can match.
Competitive Business Environment
Participants operate in a shared market with other companies, creating real competitive tension.
Consequence-Based Decisions
Choices affect company health and later simulation conditions — every decision has a lasting trace.
Negotiation Under Pressure
Structured negotiation reveals influence, trust-building, ethical judgement and conflict management.
Crisis and Uncertainty Mechanics
Changing conditions test adaptability, prioritisation and accountability under real pressure.
Behavioural Observation Layer
Assessors capture structured behavioural evidence throughout the simulation.
Development & Assessment Flexibility
Archia can support leadership development, assessment centres and team development.
The Leapers Methodology
Behavioural competency architecture, BPS-aligned assessor principles and evidence-based reporting.
Built on a Structured Assessment & Analytics Foundation
What Organisations Receive
From simulation experience to actionable leadership insight.
Every simulation produces three layers of structured output — from team dynamics through to individual behavioural profiles and programme-level insights.
